چکیده

Abstract About 150 million families around the world are engaged in milk production. However, inflammation of mammary gland (mastitis) remains a major problem dairy ruminants that affects quality worldwide. The aim this study was examination udder health with detection contagious and environmental pathogens causing mastitis 960 940 cows ewes, respectively. presence selected virulence factors such as: formation haemolysis, gelatinase, biofilm, hydrolyse DNA, resistance to antibiotics methicillin gene ( mecA ), were determined associated isolated staphylococci. These staphylococci can have untoward effects on severity mastitis. results our indicated that, addition S. aureus, uberis, agalactiae ) mastitis, non-aureus (NAS), is risk ewes. NAS, as chromogenes , warneri xylosus from infected animals clinical chronic had highest representation comparison less virulent strains. In addition, isolates aureus NAS demonstrated 77.0 % 44.2 one or more antimicrobial classes mastitic samples obtained Due high β-lactamantibiotics two species cows’ samples, methicillin-resistant poses serious complications for treatment consumers.

Detecting Virulence Factors and Antibiotic Resistance Pattern of Trueperella Pyogenes Isolated from Bovine Mastitic Milk

Backgrounds and Aims: Mastitis is a mammalian disease which is considered important due to its potential economic damages. Trueperella pyogenesis is one of the important opportunistic pathogens of the mammary glands of cattle. This bacterium can produce acute mastitis infection in dairy cattle. In fact, this bacterium has several virulence genes which contribute to its pathogenicity. Therefore,...

Prevalence of virulence and resistance to antibiotics in pathogenic enterococci isolated from mastitic cows

The prevalence of enterococci was examined in 280 milk samples collected from dairy cattle diagnosed with mastitis in three provinces of western China. Sixty strains of enterococci were isolated, and the species were determined based on their biochemical characters and 16S rRNA sequences. Resistance to seven antibiotic agents, frequency of seven virulence genes and pathogenicity in Kunming mice...

Virulence Factors in Coagulase-negative Staphylococci Isolated from Cows with Subclinical Mastitis

The aim of this study was to investigate the presence of virulence genes in 46 coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) strains isolated from 46 udder quarters of 46 cows with subclinical mastitis. The isolates were examined phenotypically (cultural features, Gram stain, catalase, coagulase, API tests) and genotypically for: icaA, icaAB, icaD, atlE, bhp, agrA, sarA, mecA, and blaZ genes. These is...

Some Virulence Factors of Staphylococci Isolated From Wound and Skin Infections in Shahrekord, IR Iran

BACKGROUND Staphylococci release a large number of enzymes. Some of these, such as coagulase, beta- lactamase, hemolysins and biofilms are considered indices of pathogenicity. OBJECTIVES The aim of the current study was based on the isolation and identification of Staphylococcus aureus and coagulase negative Staphylococci (CNS) strains from various skin lesions and examining their biofilms, b...
